MGH has been at the forefront of many scientific advances in treatments for depression.
Dr. Kate Bentley is currently a clinical and research fellow in the DCRP. She received her PhD in Clinical Psychology in 2017 from Boston University and completed her predoctoral internship in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy track at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Her research is focused on suicidal and nonsuicidal self-injurious thoughts and behaviors and acute affective disorders. Dr. Bentley is particularly interested in using mobile devices to study these phenomena as they occur in real-time, and ultimately developing scalable, novel interventions for individuals at risk of suicide.
